Something more than weeping angels burn into my mind

Margaret Atwood was recently re-brought to my attention,
and I am currently reading some of her books (among about five others), and they are very decent, funny yet thought-inspiring. I will try to write a review as soon as I am able to actually finish one (the downside of reading several books at a time).

I am considering buying a MacBook (Pro?) whenever my current PC (Joshua, if anybody remembers him) dies. As his insides are currently on their way out of a (amateurishly taped) hole in the back, I am predicting his death to happen sooner rather than later (I need to start objectifying him).

Gawin and I went out early this morning to play in the snow. There is tons of it, right outside our window. It is really quite wonderful how much have fallen the last few days and how clean, pure and innocent the world seems with a layer of white. Makes it harder to believe in an imminent apocalypse. I wonder what all the dead fishes and birds are about? A cleverly played cosmic joke? What do you think?
