He offered me the universe

Lee Alexander McQueen was brilliant.
The way his female designs often played on sensuality, fragility and  strength at the same time really appealed to me on such a unique level.

He really loved theatrical imagery and his use of myths, stories and fairy tales in his designs is gorgeous. Many of his clothes, and to a bigger degree the way these clothes were presented, is very much my cup of tea. His obvious obsession with the afterlife is not really any hindrance either.

Alexander McQueen was a bloody genius when it came to clothing designs. No bluffin’.
